Hello, I was very nervously, deny and also hide from this group. Deafpanzer aka Andy, he gives me the pamphlet book about the group of MSC, I still afraid to come to this group. I can see and checking out but still not ready to join
Now, this time, I have to be brave to enter this room and standing up and introduce me to this group. Hello my name is Ron aka aeroaustin, I have my problem, I have been addicted to plastic model kit. my first time to join Plastic Model Anonymous. Hello MSC! I was addicted to plastic model. I spent lots of "plastic cards" on model kits. I bought about 16 1/48 scale aircraft, I recently got three vintages model kits (b-24 liberator, 1983 and two B-29 (1977) and also 2004). Andy recommended me to seeking a therapy. I guess that's all? May I can be excuse? :-)
Hi....back to serious introduce myself... I am from Austin Texas but origins from Pittsburgh, PA.. I want go back to model hobby again since 2000. I miss this time, I need to take my time to get riding bicycle again. Need to catch up the skill. Enough for today... by the way Hello MSC.... :-)

Welcome aboard Ron! Don't worry at all...we won't hold the fact you know Andy, against you!!  Sure you will have a blast here! Folks are the friendliest around and THE most talented modelers! Always help around one of the corners in here. Andy must have told you about "the rule"...Build what you like, when you like and how you like it...just have FUN doing it!! Enjoy!! |

TRM, Thank for welcome, I will have to be calm and enjoy this forum. I am still on first step out of 12 steps! I am sure you know that I have thousand of questions for this model.. I have big notepad.. I will ask a question at one time! Leon, Yes I need to time to settle in.. my worktable has been occupied by wife's puzzles, she being doing 6 or 7 puzzles since November.. she pushed my space to 1/8 of coverage space.. I need some time to blitz attack her puzzle to drive her out of my worktable for model... don't share this to my wife... Shhhhh  Deafpanzer, Yes I know it took long time to join this MSC, remember addicted is hard time to admit to front of group.. :-) Let me decide to see how is biting from Chihuahua?  Jimmydel, Tojo72, Thanks.... Wbill76. Thanks... It long and tough to get up to this group..  I should have to put declaimer in my first post about Andy... Andy, in facebook group that is where I asked for modeler society and he pointed me to this MSC. He is not my buddy but modeler buddy probably...  My checklist is almost finishing... left is unchecked is that need paints (unsure about brands of paints) and little tools.. model kit (16) check airbrush check air compressor (6 gallon Bositich) check Table check light overhead check tea cup check old underpant check |

I will happy to show my work but I need to boot her out of my workstation, she spent all of time with her puzzles on my workbench. She ordered another puzzle few days ago, shake my head when I can have my table back.  One list to complete the checklist is paints... |

I am not surprise that MSC will be owned by TEXAS gang (Don't Mess with TEXAN Modelers) I don't mean runaway modeler, I meant plastic modeler!  They will have to wear spurs on boot and carry 6 loaded bullet chrome .45 colt gun! spitting fat chewy tobacco into big stainless bowl! (bowl rattles)  |
