Hello chaps, normally I dont do planes, because I paint figures/busts/diorama stuff etc and like it a bit dirty so to say. Some weeks ago, I got a book from Ms. Heinkel - its the biography of her father in law. Yes, THAT Mr. Heinkel. I was totally hooked and decided to give it a go. I found the small, but strange looking "Salamander" from Dragon perfect (and to be honest, theres almost no space for bigger projects in my showcases, LOL). It has PE parts for door hinges, the cockpit (unfortunatley, the belts are missing. grml.) and the landing gear. Perfect. Additionally, I got me a bunch of figures from ICM - should be fun. PS:
Cant promise that this will be a successful build or a good looking one, I can be very slow, because there are loads of other projects running here too. And in the end, Im just not used to build planes.

That's cool about the book! The Salamander should fit the bill nicely for a little wingy project.

Where the heck do you get those books??? I haven´t done any plane till now but it could be interesting to watch; the futuristic German WWII flydesigns are really inspireing. Were the figs inclueded??

You lucky boy, you! That festival was always the envy of the scene over here. Sadly, I've left those days behind me, but there are still a lot of bands listed that I would love to see. I know you'll have a great time!

Thanks Andy. Its probably not 100%, but it looks busy and most details should be correct (maybe some rivet counters will find something wrong ).

Lucas, that engine job is looking mighty fine. Like what you're doing do far. Looking forward to some more. Got a Tamiya version in the stash. Be interesting to see the differences as you bring it all together.

Continued the cockpit of the Heinkel plane - it may not be much, but this part is small! Just my 5 cents (see picture ).
