Hi Dylan. How is the quality of the kit? I've heard the Balk label things should not be so god?

Got to admire the 'heavy' look of this beast. Nice progress so far.

"thechaos" the first Black Label kit the M103 is a massively flawed and overpriced. this one is much better, but it still suffers from simplified parts. the grab handles on the stowage boxes are moulded solid and the tool holder for the shovels are way too thick. I am sure the aftermarket is working on many update sets for this kit. got her primed. I did have to stray from the oob plan. I replaced the horrible smoke dischargers in the kit with ones from the meng tortoise.

Looking really good in primer Dylan! I like the latch detail on the tool boxes.

thanks Leon, those stowage box clasps are right out of the box. I got some colour on it now.

not too much progress, its very shiny and the stickers are on. also the preshading seems to have disappeared completely under the gloss coat.

Don't worry about having lost anything via the gloss coat. It's a natural effect caused by the reflected light. Once you apply a dull coat over it, the subtlety should come back (along with any other filter or shading effects you add as part of the post-decal weathering process). Looking good with the markings on!

Catching up... looking real good! Like Bill said it will look good again after you spray dull coat over it.

Really neat piece of machinery. Echoing the gloss comments...once you knock it off you'll rediscover your nice paint job.

Great job, both build and paint. The guys are right, your earlier paintwork will reappear post flatcoat. The first time I did this it gave me a turn for sure

Beast looks good, you're on a roll Dylan. The matt process must've been an assembly line for the last couple of days.
