Thanks BJ! The chipping medium, as like most if not all, are similar to hair spray and is applied with the airbrush. You can spot apply if you so desire, with a brush like with mufflers and what have you. The amount applied directly results the size and ease of removal of the paint on top. This applies to the amount of water used to remove the paint as well. If a lot of water is applied after a heavy application of the chipping fluid, larger areas of paint can be removed easily. If you cut the chipping medium with water a little and/or place a light application it will be slightly harder to remove paint which makes it easier to get finer chipping and scratches without removing too much paint in the process. Thanks fellas! Appreciate the kind words and feedback! I still have a ways to go on things but I think I am certainly making some progress!! Time to make a mess of the GAZ next I think!! LOL!!

Ahh Ok, Sorry for all the questions, So much has changed over the years and since I don't have a hobbyshop anywhere near I always have to mail order stuff so just trying to decipher what products are really new or a new spin on an old technique.

Never a problem on questions at all...the only issues come with the answers...LOL! The "newer" chipping mediums do work easier with regards to actually removing the paint. Hair spray is still a viable option by all means if it saves the trouble of having to order online for something. This goes the same for just about every single product! They all work whether acrylic, enamels, lacquers, pigments and washes...period! LOL! Each just differently. Can't expect to work with enamels for years and pick up an acrylic and not change any settings to the equipment or on how it's applied...just can't happen that way. Same goes for the opposite direction as well. I still have and use all brands and lines of paints and weathering products, just using more Vallejo because I work with them on troubleshooting and show demonstrations.

Thanks guys...been a kind of all over the place recently. I did manage to bang this out....well at least where I am calling it done!! My apologies for the lack of pics at this time. That "favor for a friend" I mentioned early on was to fill a gap in a publication, also a good reason to why this was put into a rush pattern. As you might tell, a couple small changes were made...like with the stowage and whatnot. I felt it was a somewhat busy. The way I see it, if I change my mind...then I can add them!! Thanks again for following along with this one!! No back to our regularly scheduled programming!!

Thanks Deano....much appreciated buddy!! Now if I could wrap my head around the 1/72 dio I would have more space!! Thanks Jimmy! LOL...it was a bit quick notice! I would say, more or less in the past 9 days or so that the bulk was done. Glad to have it off the bench though...make room for other now...LOL!!

So, your friend gets to have a gap in his publication filled, and we are left with a multi-photo gap filled with one picture? LOL (sorry, there should have been other emojies, but my favourite ones are - once again - not working) Seriously though, excellent work Todd! Thumbs Up!

Thanks Sabre! It helps when the model was mostly built before the GB started as I mentioned in the first post! No to find someone willing to just build for me so I could paint more!! Thank you very much Wes!!! Thanks Dierk! Most appreciated! Sorry bout that single pic thing! I will try and grab some "alternate shots" soon and toss something up!!

Thank you BJ!!! You're too kind! Thanks Bill! You know me, time seems to be at a premium sometimes!! As for the backlog... Making headway! I think by the mid 50's ...age or year, I might be caught up! Not that bad...just a couple of pending projects. The rest of the shelf queens can wait!

Many thanks Elco! The set is pretty decent. A lot of room to shift the color back and forth dark to light and dark yellow to tan-ish!
