And not the "If I want your opinion I'll beat it out of you" or "Does this dress make my a$$ look fat?" kind but an actual off-the-cuff opinion on which model is best suited to the base they're both pictured on. I have a show this weekend and can't decide, and it's making my pretty little head hurt. Keep in mind the base is un-dusted and still glossy, but it's close enough, I think. The pics: Fire away, shoot from the hip, let loose with abandon, please.

The Super Pershing looks like it fits more IMHO. The T-34's heavy mud build-up and dirtier appearance seems out of place on the cobblestones and would be better suited in a 'field' setting. Jut my 2 cents. Good luck at the show!

I am with Bill! It would be cool if you can apply some dust pigments to the cobblestone to tone it down a bit. That's my two cents...

AHHH! I missed the last sentence that it is still glossy and not dusted... awesome, you are on the right track!

Nope. I like the T34 better. The cobblestones say, "Europe". The T34 says the same. The Pershing I tend to associate with post-WWII.

Looking pretty good! Now the base fits the muddy T34 better... good feedback from guys here.

Well, the T-34 and the IDF Pershing both got 3rds, and in classes with more than three entries, so it's all good. I'll get some proper gallery pics up soon.

Thanks, T. I was kind of surprised the T-34 placed at all, around here it's rare that an oldie does. Seems like local contest judges favor newer, state of the art kits and lots of store-bought accessories over basic stuff, so I feel really good with this one.

Can't argue with those results Russ! Congrats on both placing.

Love that T34! But it does look a little bare sitting on the cobblestone road work. Perhaps five or six tank riders hanging on it might take ones eye off the street, and put it on the tank. gary
