Howdy folks, I finished this up back in March, and taking a look around here it seems I never posted it (or well anything after this place was reopened a YEAR ago) - whoopssssss... So this is the Fujimi McLaren MP4/12C GT3 2013 kit. The decals are Studio 27 both race livery and carbon fiber. The decals represent one of two entries by Boutsen Ginion Racing for the Blancpain Endurance Series 3HR Sprint race held at Monza in 2014. Paint is Tamiya Gloss Black straight out of the car with a little buffing and no clear and everything other than the mirrors are done with decals. Way to go James, cracking build!
I have pondered this kit before, seeing yours, I think it's time to invest.

Thanks guys, glad you like it. Currently working on a BMW Z4 GT3 at the moment. Way to go James, cracking build! I have pondered this kit before, seeing yours, I think it's time to invest. The only complaint - if you can call it that - I have about the 2013 kit is that amongst the changes made was inclusion of a new Recaro style seat that is much wider than the original 2011 tooled seat. No other modifications were made to the interior, meaning the new seat is in fact much to wide to fit inside the roll caging. Since I was building this on "deadline" for an online build and real model contest I ended up just using the older spec seat, but some modifications to the roll cage will need to be made to get the fatter seat installed if you so desire it. The good part is the windows are so small and the cockpit relatively narrow/deep and various shades of black any hacking you do will most likely never be visible.
