Todd,Dierk thanks guys! It's a real pleasure working on a kit that has very little flash to clean up.

Am I right in thinking that looks very tamiyaesque in its shake-and-bakeness?

Count me in Leon. A very nice start thus far. :)This beastie looks like it could send some serious hurt pretty far downrange. Dave

Dierk, Now way buddy! :PThis thing has more tiny parts than a few braille builds put together. Dave glad to have you along! Just a little info---this beast can fire a round 37,000 m and 55,000 m by using rocket assisted projectiles.

I don't think you can ever describe a Trumpeter kit as shake-and-bake...but the detail on the suspension does look good! Keep at it Leon.

Todd thank you! Fire is still burning. Bill thank you! Trumpeter will never be shake and bake with the number of parts in their kits.

Actually yeah, come to think of it, their KV-1 was the only one that I could describe with a clean conscience as shake and bake - I was hoping for your sake that this was similar...oh well, in that case I offer my condolences

With something that has this many small parts, it's always a little bit of a guessing game as to how far is far enough between assembly and paint. The trick is if you can still get at stuff either with an airbrush or a regular brush before/after. You've got a 50/50 shot either way!

Bill, that's something I never thought of! Thank you.Think I'll glue up a few more sub assembly's and go from there.

Missed the beginning here. But when I saw the barrel on the box cover it reminded me of a line from a certain kind of movie. "Oh my, it's so big!"

Looking good! Bet you are excited about the new AB toy. Remember not to try spray one coat at once but do it in few thin layers. You will do just fine!

Lots of little detail nooks and crannies on this one Leon to keep you busy! Big guns will always put a smile on your face.
