Scrap 'Tire' Container Haul

The container is supposed to be filled to the brim with scrap tires but I did not have sufficient to achieve this. So ill have to get my hands on some tires that no one has a need for.

A little more toning the weathering on the container, behind the cab, and minute detailing and it is done

Also some weatheting in the threads of the tires are in order.

Excellent work - but to be honest, as a biker I wouldn't want to meet that truck on a German Autobahn...it looks less than road-worthy
If it helps I can probably donate quite a few 1/35 truck tires? Until I check properly I can't give you an exact number, but I'm guessing 20odd.

Thanks so much. Are they resin or plastic? But I do not think I will need them. I will simply raise the bottom which will increase the height. So I do not have to have many tires.

The container is on its last leg. Will be decommissioned soon.

They are vinyl - that's why I don't need them But you're right: raising the floor is a better idea - I was going to suggest it, but then forgot...

I finally got the tires into the container. 163 tires to be exact. Thanks to all my fellow modelers from around the world who donated most of the tires.

I also added the twist locks to the underside at all four corners of the container to hold them in place. I made some few changes of the placement of the wheels and did some minor painting and slight weathering. I also moved the tractor slightly forward away from the trailer to show more of the fifth wheel.
So I hope you all approve of the final look as I am calling this done.
