This looks to be a great build of the "little truck that could" You can almost hear the little sewing machine motor winding out

Yep, the engine is smaller than many motorcycles. It is 360cc... Glad you like it

Hello MSC, I managed to do some more work on this one. The ancient mantra says "layers, layers, layers", and who am I to dissent? So I added a couple more layers to the little truck, to try to achieve the look I have in my mind's eye. This is the result: Hope you guys like it, as always ACW

Looks great. Just keeps getting better. I have noted some of the really clever Japanese model builders use Tamiya Enamel Clear Orange for doing rust streaks. I brought some but have not tried it yet.

Thanks a lot Leon and K1w1 I'm using a combination of the lifecolor rust set and 502abt oils. The front H symbol is painted with snow white oil paint, to help me get the faded look I was aiming to.

Loving it more by the update! Really starting to look the canine's danglies. Just noticed that it has two fuel filler caps - is that so you can pull up at either side of a fuel pump at the petrol/gas station? Seeing as you're going for the used and abused look, are you going to add rust to the bottom edges of the doors?

Thanks Dierk. I don't know why it had two fuel caps... The rust will stay as it is now, I don't want it to be a total wreck, just an abused minitruck. Thanks a lot Deano

This is great! These do indeed make interesting subjects. I like the additional items you have for the back. The steel plate on the back of the cab looks really good.
