Inherited a glassed faced shelf recently that I am adding LED lights to. Thought I'd clean up the shelf of dusty models. Nothing special on these.....nothing to call a shelf King or Queen, mostly Shelf Jokers. Yes some are missing parts that have been lost over the years. Mostly everything here will be done with Model Master Enamels. Just to let you see what I've built over the years. Based on when I know these have been roughly built, I think my finish on models has gotten worse over the years. All shot with the phone, didn't dig the camera out for it. 1/48 Monogram Classics P-51B (later boxing so essentially the Pro Modeler P-51B with engraved panel lines). Sweet little kit to build, free hand camo. 1/48 Hasegawa P-51D, Aeromaster Decals. Think the NMF on this one was a special concoction a buddy came up with from Floquils. With a name like "My Achin a$$" why not build it? 1/72 Tamiya P-51D. Built for inner club contest (I don't normally do 1/72) 1/48 AMT P-40F converted to a short tail P-40F by using the tail off another AMT P-40. Squadron Hack for the CO of the 325th Checkertail. Masked and Painted Checkers. I'm thinking this is the 1/48 Tamiya Spitfire Mk.I. I just liked the Black/White underside so that's why I built it. Free hand camo again. 1/48 ICM Spitfire Mk.VII I built for an IPMS Review. Their are some issues with the nose on this one. Kit parts didn't fit all that well. 1/48 Hasegawa P-47D Razorback. Replaced the gun barrels with hypodermic tubing. I believe it has a Monogram P-47 Propeller on it. Went through 2 decals sheets trying to do the checkers on the cowl. Ended up finding an article on how to mask and paint them. 1/48 Tamiya P-51D in Korean War Markings. Hasegawa P-47D in French Markings. Hypodermic tubing for gun barrels.

Looks like a nice group to fill up the case with! The checker tail in particular is an eye-catcher.

Great line up there! All winners in their own right! With or without missing parts!

That glass case is going to be very happy keeping those all safe.
