I had an alarm installed in my man cave... it goes off every time a wing nut posts something.

DING DING DING DING DING DINGMust be a Christmas alarm Hey you... What's your story with building? Or have you become a professional forum lurker. When's the last time you've glued some plastic? I was looking tough the old 38(t) Duel thread and you mentioned the Stuart Honey duel we were supposed to do. Say the word bro and I'll drop whatever I am working on to do that with you.

Agree with Andy there Marc, that's some cool paintwork. Which colors did you use?
Cheers

Wout, Leon... thanks fellas
Wout the gray is straight Tamiya XF 75 IJN Gray. The deck was given coat of Tamiya Buff then covered with a mix of artists oils... burnt umber and sienna a little brown and whit to lighten it up a bit. This was brushed off with stiff bristles brushes.

The gray and wood deck contrast really shows off the details nicely Marc.

I have been working on my little Panzer II for last two months. Work has been very crazy busy with annual audit, running workshops and big events that I come home tired. I think you would be happy to hear that I have resumed my work on the B-24 two nights ago. Hoping 2016 will be a better year...

Another build to be proud of! Gonna love Japanese's engineering to fit the plane inside a freakin' submarine...

Thanks guys. Yeah Andy I agree. But I have to wonder how many times the guy that thought it almost locked up for being crazy.

Nice finish all around to this one Marc. Love the 2nd float plane poking out of the hangar, very cool! As for curved railings...that's just part of the ship-builders curse...kind of like road wheels for armor.

Hi Anthony... thanks. Yup, all homemade. Stained and polyurethaned bass wood.
Thanks Bill, The gentle curve down the side of a destroyer was one this. This was just sick.
