Thought I'd post some finished pics of the Koln Panther I just finished finally, and an old Museum relic Panther from a few days ago.
Work on the la Gleize King Tiger will continue tomorrow.

Thanks ER and Leon. Good to finally get the one Panther off the shelf. Still have one more to eventually finish up. Just need to figure how I want to display it.

Very cool results Rob, and glad to see some of yours...seems like ages.
And speaking of the La Gleize Tiger II...which one? Looking forward to that (have a special relation with number '213' since that was my first build since I returned to the hobby 5 years ago)
Cheers

Thanks fellas. I know it's been ages since I've really posted my stuff on here. Most are comm builds and or for articles so I can't post full build threads of them.
Wouts, hard to find a specific point for the KT. Am thinking before it was moved by the British from the side of the road/next to the building, to the area in front where I believe it has been since. The time frame will determine whether it will have the side skirts or not. Hm, actually since I have the track thrown it will have to be after the move since the track was still intact and not thrown before the move. The La Gleize KT is for an mag article for next year spring time so no build blog.

scratchmod: It's always a pleasure to view your truly unique work. I am simply in AWE. Your finishes and colors have so much depth and you never miss a detail.
I can almost feel the sense of tiredness, defeat and sadness on that first Panther and the contrasting rust on the white Panther is done perfectly...enough to be noticed, but not overpowering.
Two thumbs up...I am humbled.

Thank you all for the comments and really glad to hear you like them both. Sorry for the late reply, been busy finishing a couple of other models before vacation.

Tough question because this was from 2015 and I have no clue what I used back then. It is most likely an acrylic white/off white color. I totally forgot about that Panther...and a lot of other models I built over the past 8-10 years lol.

So, to add to an "olde" with thread, I just finished reading "Spearhead", the story of the Pershing gunner who faced off the Panther in Cologne (Koln?) and I'm eying one of the Tamiya Pershings in the stash.... Excellent book, by the way. Very highly recommended, seriously. Author is Adam Makos.
