Picked this Chap up in Telford and he is just what i need to get my Mojo back. Saying that he looks noting like a Vampire. more like an Ork. Primed and some highlights added

Wow
I have this one on my list of must have's, I am so jealous! I think the "Vampire" is more from the Buffy genre, than Lord of the rings, but it is such a great bust to paint with so much character,
I will definitely be following your progress, what have you planned for the jacket? I have been doing more brown leather recently as the distressing is easier to pick out with orange.
Nice start

at first i didnt realize it was a leather jacket and was planning on a vibrant color but now i guess leather it shall be, i shall be looking up some biker jackets and see what they look like.
done a google search last night for some reference for Vampire and all i found on google search was Hot chicks with Fangs......

Hi Spud Take the studs off and it could be anything you want. I haven't seen one painted yet, it was described as a biker vampire, so not such a leap to a leather jacket LOL Still a blank canvas, but not really too hot a chick though! Happy painting, its going to be a cracker

Hi Spud, Great close up, love the depth of the creasing, it really will look good. The bloodshot look is there, and the slit pupil looks good too. A drop of gloss in each eye? I think my PayPal account it going to take a hit soon LOL but I am torn between the biker and this one www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181911099780?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AITBeauty or the beast? I need the challenge of a non standard skin tone to revitalize the painting "mojo" after painting figures all year! Nice start, and no hanging around either. Can't wait to see "it" develop. Steve H

Thanks Steve, that one does look neat nonstandard skin scares me this will be my first and it will be nice to do something different for a change
I tried some Future in the eyes but it did not look that good so i went with Tamiya Clear and i think it worked out better,

Should be a fun project Spud, I'd say you've captured the murderous look in the eyes just right.
