No such thing as a bad model kit......some just need some extra loving. I'm using this kit to hone some scratch building skills. I will post photos in a few days. I need as much feedback as I can get.
This is what I'm looking at;
1. Detailing the cockpit area and gun bay.
2. Cutting out the molded on engine and replacing it with a Quick-boost resin kit......what do you think?
3. Detailing the flaps and dive brakes.
5. Cutting out the air intake flaps and building them out of aluminum.
I have the Accurate Miniatures kit as a study guide.
Should be fun and a good scratch build project.
What do you think?

For a $16 kit I think it is a scratch-builders deal. The bottom half is the Revell kit. The top attached fuselage is from the AM kit. The Revell kit is a bit larger then the posted 1/48. Very chunky and near 1/50 I will remove the molded on engine and replace it with a quick boost model or see if I can get one out of someones spare box. I'm up for the challenge and will start in a couple of days. I will be posting updates, but this will be a long project. I'm wrapping up my Revell B25 J....built it as a cutaway. I will post pictures soon.
