Dr Paul Budzik (http://paulbudzik.com/index.html) briefly mentions this technique in one of his excellent YouTube videos. Unlike many of the dental tools and materials Dr. Budzik uses, paper points are readily available on Amazon and ebay for sale to the public. And they're remarkably inexpensive! (about $8-$10 for a package of 200)
I don't like to unscrew the nozzle if I can avoid it. The part is very small and easily lost or damaged. Fill the cup with a few drops of thinner and the paper point will soak the liquid up the full length of the nozzle.

Good stuff right there John! Thanks for the "tip"! I noticed you are using the #35 for your brush...what is your tip size of the AB...and will the points on either side of that number still work to clean the same tip?

I was able to use all the sizes from 15-40 through a .3mm tip. The paper points will compress as they are pushed through. The larger sizes will go about half way before they stop, but will still get good contact around the interior of the nozzle.

Looks like I can only order from China via Amazon. Better deal if you buy four boxes instead of just one. Thanks again!

Thanks John! That gives me a good idea on how they will work. Just ordered some off ebay two seconds ago...free shipping and from Cali...$6. Well worth it! I use a 0.15 needle most of the time, but the small ones should work nicely for that and my 0.2. Thanks again!

I ordered some a while back and am still waiting for the slow boat from China as they say.
I'm hopeful they will work in my .15 if not it's only a few bucks I guess and I'm sure I can do something with them.
