Hmmmm. I really cant decide what my 1/24 Shelby Mustang should look like. On the one hand the GT 350 H is a true classic - no doubt. And he deserves a classic build. On the other hand its a perfect base for some MadMax madness.
Decisions, decisions...

Classic. To hot of a car to mangle it.
Now if it were a FIAT (Fix It Again Tony)... bash it!

Is Ford really that bad? I heard some Ford cars had electrical problems (speaking about a Scorpio Mk.I here). The new Fiesta ST of a friend never had any issues. Anyways - still no decision here yet. Doesnt make it easier.

I have been driving Australian Ford Falcons - Cars and Pick Ups since the early 80's and never had any major problems. Still have 3 today. Put me down as a Ford fan and I am voting for the Mad Max build. By the way Max's Car was an Australian Ford Falcon.

Shelby was always known as a flim flam artist if it matters a lot. Nobody in Detroit had a lot of use for him, as he was always scamming somebody. Chrysler figured him out big time and sent him packing. G.M. was smarter and locked the doors to him. The original Cobra was nothing but an English body with a U.S. V8, and barely a piece of junk. After a major redesign of the body and running gear it became a much better car, but also not nearly as fast as most folks are led to believe. The fast one was the 427 Cobra, and it had a ton of issues. The Mustang GT350 was nothing but a way to raise money for a failing enterprise. Then you had Ford running on Shelby's gains while never looking at what was really going on. Ford was racing a Nascar 427 hi rise tunnel port engine against 180 cubic inch engines. Guess they should have won! That they did, of course. Yet with similar sized engines they didn't do so well unless the completion was handicapped (look at the hemis compared to Fords as an example) gary
