Something a bit different from me here.... With the start of a new adventure into the land of Krynn I decided to put the models together for our adventure party. Our party consists of 6 characters, 4 of which I've started, at least 1 is winging its merry way from the US as we speak and 1 is still to be sourced as he is a bit hard to find a representative model for at this time that doesn't require major modification. The list are a Ilkrith, a Human trainee, junior Knight of Solamnia, Leena, a half-elf acrobatic rogue, Xyshia, a half-elf Barbarian Bezerker (my wifes character ), and finally for now. my character..... The Reverend Jebodia Clunge, a Human Cleric for the God of Thunder and Lightning (My Character  )...... The other characters I'm awaiting models for are Lileth, a female Human Magi following the law of Necromancy and Bevis Starchild, a Human Multi scimitar waving Mercenary. The models how I dug them out of my old wargame figures, Left to right..... The Reverend Clunge, Xyshia and Leena, they are, or were, all ex Warhammer models, the good Reverend is a one off games day model, the barbarian is a Hobgoblin trapper model and Leena is a Slanneshi lesser daemon model.  This is Ilkrith and the Rev fresh out of paint stripper and additions for their character profile  Leena, Ilkrith, The Reverend and Xyshia post green stuff and modelling, ready for primer  Ilkrith ready for adventuring.... Very nice Sean! I don't do any of the gaming, but I love many of the figures produced now! Nice work on the detail painting! You're going to have some nice pieces on your hands when you're done!!

Cool! Can't wait to see the whole party. Man, I need to get back on my 28mm figs...got a LOT of them to get painted after the various Reaper Mini kickstarters!

Just had a text off my mate to say his wives character model has just arrived, Lileth. the Necromancer Magi, I'll receive her upon the morrow at this weeks game night The band is slowly coming together, just got to hope the DM doesn't kill one or all of us off before all the models can be painted  |

I apologies for the rubbish photos, I took them on my phone for ease and the lighting wasn't enough to show the detail without a flash.... fear not, better ones will be done when I've.... A) built my new photo booth, and B) finished the models as a group Leena is now finished....  And a WIP of The Reverend....  I pick up the Magi model this evening so should have her and the Reverend done over the weekend if the wife doesn't intervene to much ATB Sean |

Well, after last nights debarkle it appears not!!.... It was the Magis' exploding 'wand of withering' that almost saw 85% of the party off, the DM was kind to us though and just made us all age from 8 to 28 years.... Apart from me!! I saved on my magic resistance roll, which is only 15% out of 100!! My god loves me and saw fit to maintain me as I am!!.... And all that just trying to kill a black bear that had been drawn to the camp by the cooking fire!! In other news, I now have the Magi model and as I type this the primer is drying! |

Adventure party all finished apart from Beavis Starchild McHankie who is still a WIP as a character so no model has been bought to represent him yet, in the meantime this Clown plays his part.....  Leena, the female Half-Elf Rogue Thief   Xyeshia, the female Half-Elf Barbarian Bezerker (My wifes character)   Sergeant Brother, The Reverend Jebodia Clunge, Cleric for Ukko, God of Thunder and Lightning (My character)   Lileth, Necromancer Magi   Ilkrith, Trainee Junior Knight of Solamnia   Group shot...... All great but Lileth gets my vote I'm afraid there appears to be an orderly queue to join for a moment of her time Beavis Starchild McHankie is taking shape after I managed to save him from being brutally murdered by 2 members of our party last week, a long storey that resulted in me being punched unconscious by my wives character  ATB Sean Note; apologies for the missing photos above, I've been sorting my host and may have deleted them by accident  |

Been 20 years or since I DM'd a game. Used to have my nephews & nieces, along with their friends over every Friday night during winter. During summer when school was out, we'd have sleep over at my place from Friday night to Sunday afternoon. Which made a lot of parents happy. Livingroom was a like a living mine field w/10 kids laying everywhere. Even so, still got all my books (1st edition), magazines and of course a bunch of figures, monsters, etc. Used to use a mat, drawing out corridors, etc. and when characters met a NPC, monster, etc. I'd pull one or more out along with furniture if they were in a room. Then got into buying some of the Hirst Arts molds to make inns, etc.      |
