clearing off the half built shelf of shame. I've had these 2 sitting partly built for over a year now. one female and one male. I plan on getting them painted and decaled before sunday when I have to work next.

Got to clear some of my 'shelf of shame' too - 'tis full. Looking forward to seeing the results! Good luck!

Bring on the paint Dylan! OK! preshaded like my Mk.V and sprayed with a 50/50 mix of Tamiya flat earth and deck tan. I think I might have to touch up a few bits before the gloss coat goes on.

Nice to see the different characteristics in the markings. That green pattern on the gun sponsons gives one a very distinct look.

thanks guys. the odd paint job on the Male tank is taken from a photograph in the osprey book. I am hoping to get some more work done on them this week.

Really like your painting technique - it's very effective for these riveted monsters!

Can't beat all the rivets on this monster for providing a nice weathering opportunity.

I think you nailed the look of the tank as seen on the picture.
