All I'm a great believer in life in giving credit where credit is due - hence this post (apologies but it does go on a bit!) As you you know Sean pointed me in your direction after we 'met' on another modeller forum and as you also know he's given me plenty of advice both on here and on the other site. However, what you won't know is that by PM Sean had kindly offered to send me some of his unwanted/spare equipment to help improve my modlelling and I don't just mean a few tools......I mean amongst other things ..... ....a fully working Revell Vario airbrush....... .....plus various pots, an air hose, and a book on airbrush painting. The parcel duly arrived and upon opening it I not only found all of the above but also.... ....a full bottle of extender medium, half a bottle of flow aid and a two sided, hand written, guide (with diagram) on the workings of the airbrush and a detailed explanation of the service he'd given it before sending it to me.... ...not to mention... ...not one, not two but three model kits - which I had absolutely no idea were coming. The Airfix 25pdr/Quad, a Pegasus Tiger II and a Pegasus paper panzer!! You'll find a pic below of the whole lot (apologies for the quality). The reason I'm telling you all this is not because Sean is a nice bloke who let me have the stuff for a reasonable second-hand price... ....but because he absolutely refused to accept a single penny for any of it, not even the postage!!!! So Sean, thank you yet again for your generosity and I won't apologise for any embarrassment this causes you!!! You, sir, a scholar and a gentleman!!! Kind regards Andrew ----------------------------------------------------------------

Giving back to the hobby does come in many forms...tutelage,sharing of knowledge and simply the generosity of sharing the tools and materials we all use! We can all raise a glass to Sean for doing his part to giving a little back of what was given to him by the hobby! Now is the time to put these things to work!! Enjoy!

Congratulations to you both - you most probably will see that working with an AB makes a lot of things easier. And Sean seems to be very generous - well done!

Bill It was in fact a great way to start my week It actually arrived at work on my birthday (the Friday) but I'd taken my birthday off for the first time in years. So got it on the Monday. I opened it at my desk and what with all the packing my colleagues wondered what on earth was going on! All I've got to do now is sort out an air supply and work out how to use it...... Andrew

Extremely generous gift on his behalf! Indeed it was!! Although I think the jury is still out where my ever loving and patient wife is concerned.
