Hello all, here is my latest offering, again it is a 1/32nd 54mm scale metal model from Andrea Miniatures. The model is entitled Tombstone 1881by Andrea but a cord was stuck in my memory and a bit of research revealed it to be a close portrait of Henry Fonda as Marshal Wyatt Earp in John Ford’s 1946 Western “My Darling Clementine” It was my love of Westerns that triggered my memory when I first saw the model. The figure is an OOB build, but the chair Andrea supplied with the kit was not a very good fit or very robust so I set about producing my own. I used 1mm plastic rod, copper wire and 1mm plasticard and a fair bit of robust shopfloor language, but after 2 attempts I got there. The sidewalk/ saloon wall were scratchbuilt from medical tongue depressors and Billings model ship wood As I always do I used acrylic paints throughout, I kept the colours muted to try and portay the American West in 1881 and I enjoyed a re-run of the movie. Thank you for popping in and I hope you all have a happy peaceful Christmas holiday. Dennis

Lovelly Dennis, everything's well done! I'd have prefered it more dusty, but that's my choice. Hope to see you with a new interesting project. Cheers, my friend! Nicolae

Gents thank you all for your encouragement a great start to 2016. I am sorry for being tardy in replying but I had to work over the holiday, I am pleased to say it will be my last Christmas at work (yippee). Nicolae I am working on a couple of Saxon figures and I plan to place them in a fenland type water dominated location, so please keep looking in. I hope everyone has a great 2016 and I look forward to peeking in on your great work that will be shown this year. Dennis
