Afternoon guys! Got the AB out and sprayed a light base coat on the SPG road wheels and sprockets just to get the feel of using an AB again. They still need another coat yet. It's a joy not having to go outside to paint anymore. Don't know how I managed the past few years using a rattle can.

I also just recently joined the civilized world of airbrushing! No fumes, little over spray..and most of all control!! Currently planning a small spraybooth..will keep you updated, as long as I don't electrocute myself lol

Thanks mate! I had an extra extraction fan but it didn't really do the job, a small piece of paper would stick but something more towards an A4 size was pushing it. I have dismantled the fan from a small industrial heating unit..super quiet and powerful. Now just figuring out the best way to accomodate it in either a wooden or hard plastic housing. Personally the spraybooths I have seen so far are extremely overpriced for what they are..nothing like some home DIY! Have fun airbrushing mate!!

Rattlecans certainly have their place - cheap and fast! Not so good for fine work, though. Re: the DIY spray booth - dug back through the photobucket a ways and found this shot:
