#01
"Grimm Burloksson" [Games Workshop, 28mm] finished 03rd of January 2016 #02"Gaunt Summoner of Tzeentch"[Games Workshop, 28mm] finished 11th of January 2016 Totally spontaneous build. One of my favourite fantasy movies - "Pans Labyrinth"* - came to my mind when I first saw this little fella. The figure is called "The Pale Man" in the movie. * www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7XGNPXdlGQi.stack.imgur.com/oiYM2.jpgYes, I have been disappointed by the brand GW some time ago, but what they throw on the market these days is simply amazing. The actual GB motto of our local GW store is "Be afraid", and he fits perfectly here. Please note the base too - I brought the stone home when we visited our family @ X-MAS. The fossilized snail is real. #03"The Battle of Pillow Creek, 1862"EVD Miniatures finished 15th of January, 2016 #04"Judgment Day"Pegasus Models/MasterBox finished 28th of January, 2016 #05"Polish Winged Hussar"Young Miniatures, 1/10 finished 28th of January, 2016 #06Saladin (Kingdom of Heaven)finished 05th of February, 2016 Got this bust last weekend when we had our annual modelling BBQ. This is always lots of fun, and some figure painters supported me with new bases and even two new busts (one Terminator bust, and this one). If you havent seen the movie "Kingdom of Heaven" already, I can highly recommend it. Some people would say, that the golden helmet and neck protection is no use, it would have been too heavy. I think its just golden to emphasize the important role of Saladin as an army leader. Nevertheless, this bust is as much as close to the actor Ghassan Massoud as possible. That said, I can recommend this bust too, ist just a dream to build and paint. #07"Lord of Change"Games Workshop, 28mm finished 12th of February, 2016 #08Terminatorsculpted by Sergey Alekhnov finished 28th of February, 2016 #09"Jap Attack"finished 2nd of March, 2016 The build: modelerssocialclub.proboards.com/thread/10597/jap-attack-completed?page=3&scrollTo=295441

Nice kick off Lucas ! The first of many stunners I hope ! Lets see how this year turns out - a tank comes next on the bench ("Jap Attack" >> Armor category). Will they be stunners? Dont know - you decide.

Terminator diorama is complete AND I finally completed my little problem child: the Young Miniatures Polish Winged Hussar. So many problems to solve. Painted his face 4 times, the wings needed special treatment (especially the fitting), the feathers were repainted... and repainted again etc. The base is no final solution too, maybe I can find a better one. So far so good... Will upload pictures in a few hours. Stay tuned, stay safe... Lucas.

Two new stunners added Tigster ! I'm glad I'm not the man with the hand grenade waiting behind that wall ruin. Well done !
The bust looks great too but it's not fun to be struggling with the fitting. A bust has to be quick and easy to build with flawless seams, so the figurist can totally focus on what he does best : painting ! Congrats Tig !

Many thanks. The feathers are quite heavy and have a small connection spot only - that caused the fitting problems (I even added two small metal profiles each). In the end a pretty good result, but could have been better.

5 in one month! You're on track to challenge Dupes with that output!

Hehehe... maybe. Still there are way too many bench queens left. :/ Next projects will be a bit larger than 28mm miniatures - for example the Ha go tank diorama and maybe the Ford Model T. But I think the Model T has to wait a while, because of the StarWars GB.

5 in one month! You're on track to challenge Dupes with that output! I was just thinking the same thing. "Gentlemen, we have a new contender...." Love the base on the Terminator vignette.

Wow .... I don't know how you get through them so quickly. I must be doing something wrong. Judgement Day is my favourite so far. Nice idea on the base. I like interesting bases.
