"Jap Attack" *completed*

I decided to replace the 2nd figure by another. The main parts come from MasterBox Set MB3594 ("Allied Forces, WW2, North Africa"). The head is from Hornet, and his left arm has a different pose, which caused the use of putty of course.

Yep, the plan is to paint them colorful, to give the scene something common. Real people, real outdoor gear.

A chrysanthemum would have been even better.

That's a base with potential, the plants look great. When I paint these I always keep the lower parts darker and the highest ones lighter which adds great effect.

Followed AGs hint and painted the higher spots in a brighter color. Base complete so far, only the figures are missing. A propos figures: Im gonna change the photographer figure. Its nice (and will look good in another base for sure), but because of the more or less tropical setting, a pullover and a jacket look a bit strange.

I found another figure from MasterBox thats slightly been rebuild. More soon.

Speaking of Bikini girls - I had the chance to get some at the show this weekend - and there are some in my stash also. But thats for another project.

Like the actual title says - the last time was under the sign of the letter "p" so to say. Of course the tools arent there on the abandoned tank, so the hinges etc. had to be recreated with plastic profile. The tool box is supposed to be open - had to use putty for the sinking marks. Paper in there looks like old tissue later and a PE tool was left in the box too.

Some nice additional Lucas, going to look like quite the derelict when you've got it all together.

The tank got paint. First a dark brown, followed by the same brown, mixed with Vallejo Hull red. Sponge and AB were used, pigments, washings and hairspray will follow.

Dont do the hairspray method very often for my builds. Heard a lot of rumours about it from "difficult for newbies" to "idiot safe".

Is there anything I really should take care of? Any tips or suggestions?
