Disclaimer - Ok, so this is my first real post on here, other than my introduction, so I hope I'm following the proper form here for submitting my builds. 2015 was a good year for me at the bench. I actually finished 3 kits, which is two more than I have any preceding year. But it's not the numbers I'm worried about as much as the quality, and in my opinion, the three builds this year are the best I've ever done. First kit of the year was Tamiya's old T-34/76 1943 Production. A nice little kit to build, save the vinyl tracks. This kit was really just going to be an experimental build as it was my first time using photoetch, but I was happy with how it applied. The full WIP and finished photos can be found hereAfter my T-34/76, I switched gears and built something completely different, Revell's F/A-18E Super Hornet finished with Twobobs' Rockin' Rhinos #8 decals. I actually started this one in 2014, but sat it aside as my work space was diminishing. The kit had some fit issues, which I really should have done a better job of addressing, but again, I was happy with the finished product. Full WIP and final photos can be found here. And my last kit for the year, finished just in time for New Years, was Hasegawa's F/A-18D Hornet. Fit issues were again a problem, mainly around the intakes, but with the careful application of putty and some elbow grease, I was able to get some seamless transitions. The markings on this jet are, again, from Twobobs', and they represent a VMFA(AW)-225 jet wearing a special scheme in support of the 1st Marine Division. Like most other Hasegawa kits, this one comes with no weapons, so I stole some AIM-9Xs and GBU-12s from an old Tamiya F-16. WIP and finished photos are here. Up on the bench now is Monogram's F-4C for the reddit Phantom groupbuild. I may throw it up on here, though I'm not very good at keeping up with a build log. Thanks for looking!

Great work on all three!
I know all about the Revell Superbug...got one on my bench stalled out because of fit issues with that nose. Man, I don't think they could have made it more complex and screw-upabble.

Great work on all three! I know all about the Revell Superbug...got one on my bench stalled out because of fit issues with that nose. Man, I don't think they could have made it more complex and screw-upabble. Thanks! Once I figured out where the nose was hanging up, it wasn't so bad, but there is still a noticeable step on the port side, right in front of the LEX that I just decided to let go. I felt like I would have done more harm than good trying to fix it.

Well done on these three! Very controlled in the weathering! The wingy things look spot on from here! Love the T-34!! Best of luck on your 2016 builds!!

Great builds... thanks for sharing with us! It is safe to say that armors are more fun to build than wings here. LOL
