La Gleize KT '213'

Aloha everyone.

When I started the hobby in December 2009 my first kit was Dragons KT with late pattern tracks kit. I started the build on the 29th of December 2009 and I can now officially state that she is finished on the 27th of April 2012 ;D ;D ;D
Pretty much OOB except for the Friul tracks

It's depicting KT '213' of the s.SS.Pz.Abt.501 which was part of the Kampfgruppe Peiper and was lost near Wérimont Farm in the vicinity of the small village of La Gleize, Belgium. She still stands there on display to this day:

There are some small things here and there which I feel could have been done better, but in general I'm pleased with how she turned out

Very nice work all around on this one Wouter, the extra attention you gave it with the weathering really added dimension/depth to the finish. Definitely one to be proud of!

Good Gosh would that amount of time even come close to the meaning of slow???

When you get my age my friend you're going to ask yourself why did I waste all that time and now there's not enough time to get them all done that I want to build.

BUT there's something to say about Quality isn't there.

Congrats Wout ! You finally did it, the La Gleize KT is ready to rock ! I like the camo pattern, the colors match perfect. The subtle weathering makes it not overdone, sometimes less is more !
Will you come to Moveleo tomorrow ?

Shawn: thanks a lot mate! Well, there were some whitewashed Tiger II's, however, I don't think the Tiger II's of the s.SS.Pz.Abt.501 were whitewashed, if so, I haven't seen any photos of whitewashed 501 Tigers yet

T: thanks bro, yeah, I thought the black n white would make a nice addition: I tried that out in Photoshop Elements. Wanted originally add some text to the photo as well, but I couldn't figure out how to do that in PE
