I hope the old saying, "Imitation is the highest form of flattery" still holds true since is pretty much an exact copy of Tony Bell's Stearman posted on HS about July (?) of last year. He copied the bird operated by Waldo Wright's Flying Service making his own masks for the markings and offered to cut me the same masks. I accepted.

I did screw up 1 thing though. After making the fuel lines I never installed them and didn't realized until the upper wing was permanent and all the rigging done. I tried to get it in the and just don't have the dexterity I once had.

Tony, thanks for the masks. They were great.

There' a Stearman that flies out of Greenwood Airport. Heard awhile back that they just reskinned the wings and control surfaces with new canvas. I have two 1/48th kits from Monogram, and they are molded in white plastic. Wish they were in grey. Somebody needs to do an after market engine!
