Looking the kit over it looks pretty good, however they want you to display it in flight mode. You have a detailed cockpit, but no pilot. This ship should be shown parked with the canopy open, but there is no landing gear. So the dilemma is do you look for a figure or scratch landing gear.  |

Yeah, you nailed it...that's the one big drawback to this kit. In flight without a pilot!

I guess there are lots of scratching or sculpting possibilities! A landing gear and a ladder would look nice, opened panels with some interior design?

Scratch the gear. If the interior detail is a nice as you say, it would look neat in a Geonosis setting with one of those green colored R2 units.
