Coming along pretty good there. Two things that could be addressed. First is the track link on the left side. You've got to keep in mind those links weighed about 50 lbs. It really should be slid down so that the teeth are resting on the wire, not floating above it. It would also move it out of the line of sight of the periscope behind it. The other thing that's kind of bothersome is the whiteness of the markings on the front plate. They really need to be toned down. In reality, I think the crew would have rubbed dirt on them, or removed them all together, since a couple of them make pretty nice aiming points.

Good call over the front panel marking and much appreciate you taking the time. My plan was to use a speckling of orange/red over the markings. Hoping this will give them a "written with chalk" effect. Anyone any other ideas?
As for the track link, yeahp totally agree and I'm not sure it's staying there just yet.
Thanks everyone

It might be too late, but you could try drilling out the gun sight, or possibly adding a sun shield (just a tubular extension) to it so you don't have that flat face staring at you. If you do drill it, you can get some of that clear window maker (or similar product) to depict the actual lens. Some thoughts for future builds that may help... - add periscopes whenever you can, especially when modeling a buttoned up tank. The crew's going to need to look out, not to mention it just looks better than empty covers. - Panther's had a habit of polishing the outer ring of the inner wheels. This was caused by the guide teeth rubbing on them. - Lastly, when the front plate was welded in place there would have been a lot of paint burned off the area from the heat. You wouldn't have the nice clean transition between the camo and the primer that you show on this one. As they say, the devil is in the details.

You might also want to consider painting the hull MG mount red to match the replacement plate. It was an integrated component welded into the armor and not like the main gun bolted mount that could be removed or easily swapped out. There's no logical reason for it to be a different color from the armor plate in the sense of a repair in the context you've been using. From an artistic perspective it looks neat vs the red so your call either way of course!

I'm going to allow myself some artistic license with the mount, it looks pretty cool!

I love the whole late war "get it out of the factory asap" concept. I'm thinking of a paper panzer finished completely in Hull red/factory markings.
