Nice work Terry! Good luck with the mojo-flow maintenance. "I really don't know why Trumpeter didn't mold this part that way." Because Trumpeter is a bit like god: it moves in mysterious ways.

Very nice start Terry. Opening the bridge windows was a nice touch, now you can create windows with white glue or clear parts cement to really make it pop. Also another trick I use when superstructure parts don't quite attach perfectly to the deck, is to brush in slightly diluted white glue to make the gap disappear.

I had a blast when I built this same kit as a full hull model, looking forward to seeing you have it 'in the water'! Good call on the main guns replacement, Trumpeter made some odd calls in the details department in places as you've mentioned but overall I was impressed personally with the quality of the kit.

The bridge railings, heck the whole assembly gave me a hard time putting it all together. The ship is coming along nicely, it is a nice model when it is finished. Thanks! She has been on the sidelines for a while, I need to get back to her.
