As myself I'm fighting to work a decent face to my Byzantine project, I know what that result means. I can't say that keep it on untill you're satisfied. It'a already looking more and more promising! Great work, Lucas! Nic

Sure Dierk. Its Tamiya flat black and I added very dark Grey for the lighter spots. Firts wet in wet, later drybrushing (especially on his collar). This was toned down by using black washing, in this case "Nuln Oil" from GW. On some spots, I used a dark brown washing as well.
