I love these kits! Very detailed parts and wonderful instructions. I did a DH4 and had a great time.

Nice choice! These early 'pushers' had some interesting design elements.

I worked on the rudder peddle and added the real return spring.

I always liked that biplane too. It is going to be fun to follow your another build AND I will start saying a lot of prayers when you reach to the wiring stage. LOL

I have done a little more. I have added the control wires to the rudder peddle and wicker seat. I have also started the side framing. Terry

I am interested in this build. I have this kit and it is the only WW kit I have and probably not the easiest one to get my feet wet with so I will be watching closely. Nice start.

Always amazes me how primitive, relatively speaking, a lot of the WW1 stuff was...that wicker seat must've been quite comfortable for the pilot.

Terry You're clearly a very sick man in need of immediate psychiatric assistance.... As for the closed in cockpit - whilst I'm not an expert on WW1 planes (nor much else for that matter ) - that does look absolutely brilliant. It has that look of something that is clearly built in an era where they were using all kinds of materials, from all kinds of areas of life and trades, not designed for the purpose because aeronautics was in it's infancy and it did the job they needed! An excellent job already, i can't wait to see how this turns out!! Thank you for sharing! Andrew

WOW! I turn my back for a few minutes and you're nearly finished! I'll attempt some period lingo 'Looks absolutely spiffing old chap' I'm somewhat disapointed that there's nowhere in the cockpit for the pilot to put his pipe and glass of G'n'T.

Like many, the thought of tackling the rigging on these babies is likely what keeps me in the 'spectator only' department for WW1 flying machines. Doesn't mean I can't appreciate the fine detail work that others put into them. Looking good Terry!
