Here in southeastern Massachusetts we have a couple of museums that are all clumped together in one area of the city of Fall River. There is the Battleship Cove Museum, where you can tour 4 different WWII Era and cold war era Naval ships (Including a Russian one). Down the street walking distance is the Maritime Museum. It Features quite a few large scale models of ships and interesting historic items. Directly across from the Battleship are the Old Colony Railroad Museum. Its a small museum open in the summer. During the winter they have an HO scale layout that they put together for about 6 weeks inside the Heritage State Park building. I took the family and we enjoyed two hours of watching the HO scale trains come and go.... and I took a couple pictures for those of you who arent close enough to enjoy it. If you are (Gil,Rob) Might be something to take in, but do it quick, its closing at the end of this week for the season!
