I was hoping I can attend but with two big trips planned this summer I can not afford to do another trip. I am sure the show will be great as usual. Rob likes Coors Light and Todd likes mixed drinks... thought you might want to know. LOL

Yup....Rob and I will be there!! With bells on so to speak!  Have a walk around the vendor room and look for the Vallejo tables, we'll be there! Also, I have a seminar on Sat at 9 on airbrushing, acrylics and weathering I guess...LOL!! If you want to hang out an hear me babble on, stop by! |

Reserved our room tonight !! Third choice of hotels is all thats left!!! but its across the street from the "other" overflow hotel, and down the street from the main hotel so who knows.. Maybe we will see some of you!

T.... how about going over prepping the model surface, priming, and pre shading..... I have the most trouble with prepping the surface correctly and getting the paint to stick well..... but you know that LOL

LOL...Oh boy...this will be fun then!  I think if we all just hit the bar for 2 hours it might go more smoothly! Good point guys! I was going to hit some basics with ABing...more of the bad things that can happen an why, Some painting like start to finish stuff and certainly some weathering ....both AB Weathering and other junk! As long as the grapes don't poke me in the eye or get lodged in my throat, we will get through it! |

Well, another convention behind us. Hope everyone who attended had as good a time as I. Saw a bunch of old friends, met a bunch of new ones, emptied my wallet, and managed to bring home a couple of gongs for the MSC trophy case.  All total, there were about 400 models entered. There was a pretty nice complement of vendors, though not a lot of "bargain" kits were to be seen (but with new kits hitting all new highs, what's a bargain now days?). There was also about 500 items in the raffle, making a lot of folks happy with their new SUV's. The seminars were a hit, especially T's. We didn't get a chance to throw grapes, but we all got a great lesson in the importance of airbrush maintenance.  There was a myriad of people taking pics. I'm certain some will be posted shortly. |
