World of Tanks and the rise of the Chinese modeler

Any one else think that there has been an explosion in esoteric armour releases that just happen to be featured in World of Tanks? That's pretty cool if true.

Also I read somewhere that scale modelling has really taken off in China. Could it be that these events are a massive boon to us plastic hackers?

For the folks who say the hobby is dying,I think the WOT popularity is definitly helping to get young people involved.I have even saw WOT group builds.
