i know, I'am on new ground here but..... whilst sorting out my bench i found this, phoenix 54mm viking and slave. not sure when i actually bought this but it must be late70's early 80's, I'd forgotten i even had it!!! thought I'd give it a go, and got carried away, hence not many pics, sorry about that but I got on a roll. all i need to do now is the base, then i 'll try taking better pics , All was done with vallejo, and must admit it made a nice change form armour, hope you like it....

"70's or 80's"? Talk about a stash queen! Is Phoenix still in business?
Looks great! Love the armor on the Viking.

ARGH!! The super cool Phoenix figures!! Can´t tell how much I loved the works of Tim Richards!! To my knowledge, he did not sculpt anymore and some of his figures (the Monarch erotic figures) are highly sought after. He did some of this Lindisfarne series, exactly as Atlantis and the Phoenix Phollies (very tastefull erotic figures, cast in pewter). I must google Phoenix, but I think, they are out of business...
Youu did a very good job on these figures. Really enjoyable is the face of the woman and the hero pose of the Dude. Great work so far (if you like, I would recommend a better base, which does the figures a bit more justice!)

DR great to catch up with you and the gang at the Huddersfield show, now this is a blast from the past great models, sculpted by one of the best, this kit stands up well to todays offerings. Looking great so far and the Drill Rounds in the backgound look good too! Dennis
