Hope these are ok here I wanted to share this venue with you.
Annually Newark and Lincoln’s branch of IPMS (UK) hold a show and competition in October. I took these photos last year I hope you like them. More to follow as time permits.
Traditionally called the Expo, it’s a great show; well attended and what I think is the most pleasant of venues, Southwell Racecourse, Newark. There’s a decent amount of club and trade stands with a fair showing in the competition. Plenty to see and plenty to spend your £’s on although a couple of the usual traders were missing this year. The club stands were very well attended.
There’s a great comfy seated are to peruse your purchases, and some very nice areas outside to chat over a drink and food…did I say it had a bar LOL, and hot food?
...and its (so far anyway) always been free entry, and plentyful free parking!!!
A very enjoyable day out indeed and a great place to try out your models before Scale Modelworld at Telford the month after.
