I'm thinking about building a LVT at Iwo Jima, but after the beach had been taken and materials started coming in. I am having a real time trying to find a 1/35 USMC figure that is just having a moment of down time. It seems like every USMC figure set is very action oriented. The closest I've found are from evolution miniatures, but I was wondering if anyone knew of some other alternatives? Thanks for your time. Jeff

This is going to be fun build... how about those figure sets? Removing the rifles you might can adjust the arms to make them more relaxed? Same thing... replacing guns with shovel or tools it may work? Dig their different outfits as seen in the pictures. You can always replace the kit supplied heads with Hornet resin heads if you are not pleased.

Thanks for the suggestions Andy. The Doberman set is kind of on my short list, but I hadn't considered the jungle marine one. That figure on the far left on the box art might have a lot of potential.

I agree! That figure at far left could be holding a canteen or something like that. Glad to help my friend!

If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the precipitate.

It's because Marines never rest. We are either on the attack or dead.....
