Afternoon guys! Had to shelve the Panther and type 90 JGSDF tank because of the crappy weather this weekend.Snow and below freezing temps. To cold to clear coat the panther or put the base coat on the type 90.Decided to build another IDF tank.Hope to start this in a bit so stay tuned in. 001 by Leon Dorak, on Flickrt

Martin, thank you! Bill, something different indeed! Kit has metal springs for the suspension, rubber tires for the road wheels and a rifled metal barrel insert.

Man, you guys are getting slammed with some bad weather. T and Rob were talking about the snow they left behind to come south for the AMPS show. I could tell both of them were heartbroken over it.

Nice one Leon!! I have this one kicking around on the shelf! Reminds me I started it and pushed it off to the side! Your build might give me a little push again!! If the tracks turn you off, AFV has a cheap movable version. They still need some glue contact depending on how well the pins set...but a nice improvement. Keep it going!!

Snow in April? Darn, we had a very nice spring day over here today...about 21 Centergrade... Nice subject btw. That running gear with those springs actually looks cool! Cheers

Fruils would be nice buddy! I grabbed the AFV's for about 10 or 12 bucks. I treat them like Magic Tracks and they slap together! Wouts...LOL!! Last week we picked up another 8 inches of snow...it melts in a day when the sun comes out. A cruel little joke Mother Nature plays on us!

Need to go out and prep the garden for a while.Hope to make more progress on this, get the JGSDF 90 ready for camo and maybe put another mist coat of dark yellow on the Panther and try to tone down the camo again.

Guy thank you! The springs are a nice detail,to bad they'll be hidden by paint and the wheels.Speaking of wheels, the road wheels have a poly cap insert and are to small to fit on the suspension so I had to use a drill bit to open them up to fit.The return rollers are two piece and a bit of a pain in at arse. They have a tiny half moon attachment point and had to use my optivisors so I could glue them together. Dierk thank you mate! Need to start thinking about paint before I go to much farther.

You're a machine Leon! How many builds do you have rotating now? I was wondering about your poor garden, it might take revenge if you neglect it.
