Andy thank you buddy! Bill,i had planned on getting it painted and getting the camo on the type 90 this past weekend but the Mrs. had other plans.  Grocery shopping and another cooking marathon.I will say we'll be eating good for the next two weeks. |

Shot Kal is finally painted! I sprayed it with SAC bomber tan and I'm really liking the color.As you can see the tracks aren't fixed.The tracks are painted with AK dark track color and it dissolved the joint.This is the second time I've had problem with this set. I'll glue the tracks to the return rollers and will be hidden by the skirts. Looking good with the paint on Leon! Tough break with the track solvent issue...I wonder if it's more a shortcoming with what AFV uses in their tracks vs. the AK stuff? Either way, sounds like you've got a good plan to hide it all away with the skirts. |

Looking good there Leon! Love the color! Can;t wait to see the weathering! Sorry to hear about the tracks...thank God for the skirts!! It's a compounding issue...the grade of plastic used has shifted in the past couple years. Meng's tracks for the Leopards dissolved badly when touched with enamel washes. The only fix as the tracks are great, is to either seal the crap out of them and pray....or simply switch to an acrylic for that area. Bring on the end game my friend!! |

Martin,no apologies necessary! Do you remember what subject you saw the photo? I haven't built a ship in over 40 years. I don't think I would call this a ship but I did a LVAC dio last year. |
