This is a very small bust, sculpted by talented Mario Numitone. Very fine level of details, it needed only a few operations of cleaning. Here it is the result of some hours last night. Still a lot to do! The eyes had to be reworked, also not vey content regarding the choice for the textiles colours. I'm still looking for better options. Cheeers, Nicolae

Hi brotha figurist ! You're doing a great job Nicolae, I like the colors you've chosen for this bust and personally I'd go for white under the helmet to generate contrast with it, the metal would stand out more. I like the exotic flesh tones of this fella. Keep it coming !

Thank you my friends! Guy, thanks a lot for your feedback! As I said this is a Work in Progress (WIP) so nothing is finished. But I had to give some details, I didn't have the time to do it right. So, I was thinking a little to this fellow. Initially, I liked this a lot: ro.pinterest.com/pin/555631672755697430/But, I thought use the green which was a special colour for Muslims and tried another variants. For the helmet I use Black from Vallejo Model Color and Blak metal from Scale 75 with more fine pigment. Still in work. For textiles, I used Electric Blue from Vallejo Game Air and Neutral Grey. The turban is worked with Neutral Grey with small dot of Electric Blue. I added Black for more contrast and some white to the lighter. Still working. It will not be White but some kind of Grey with more personality. I felt exactly at you said, but trying to keep in mind to have some harmony wih that Electric Blue. the powerfull contrast will be done by Green cap For the Green cap I tried an experiment. First, I used an Extraopaque Heavy Blackgreen from Vallejo (72147). Then, I add in my wett palette some dots of Desert Yellow (Vallejo Game Air 72763). With a brush for drybrushing I touched that dots (there was alos a mixture with that Green),discharged most of the colour on napkin then push gently on the cap to give that texture. Not very pleased of the result, but help me a lot to achieve some worn effect. Still practicing! For the face, I noticed that the works of this bust I've seen until now, used some kind of european flesh, not very suited to an Arabian, Middle East pigment. I knew about this Ethnic skintones from Vallejo colours, published on coolminiornot site, so I used the recommended mixture. I liked the result, maybe not very well caught by my camera. Hope to give enough details to understand how this project started! Cheers, Nicolae

Hi everyone! I hope the weekend will be more succesfull for those working to their projects. More progress to the face, you have some photos, included one with true scale of this jewell (almost 4,5 cm) and with my wet palette. Good luck to everyone! Nicolae

Fine work Nicolae! But, it seems to me, a bust absolutely not expressive, boring. It is only my opinion

Warm thanks, Bill! What can I say? If my Varengian guard took a little pause, I had to compensate.
