A basic purpose of their models - to invite in this great hobby of new members. Skilled modellers can't make serious model of their models. Ja, ich mache es absolut umsonst  |

Well Martin, I'm sure it's taking all the intestinal fortitude you've got to keep going here. I've never heard of Ark Models but ICM is enough for me to drop it like a hot potato. For me, A lot of work for marginal results. So far you've gotten on much better than I ever did. Look forward to seeing this come together.

I would apologise for my harsh comment on the quality of ARK kits - but my only experince of one of their kits is the ZIS-5, and that is impossible to build OOB as it has a serious fault in the moulds: half of the steering linkage is moulded to the back of the wheel mountings    ICM is enough for me to drop it like a hot potato. Rick Actually Rick, try one of their newer kits - you'll be pleasantly surprised I think. I'll even go as far as breaking a lance for their T-35 kit - unlike Hobbyboss' offering it has a partial interior, but much more importantly, it is dimensionally correct. Hobbyboss used measurements they found on the internet which are wrong, so their kit is too big. |
