Sorry folks, no pics till now (weekend), but I have begun something nobody would expect from me: Figure altering. I thought, to come up with something completely new, I have to do the most unexpected. I alter playthings. My first victims are PLAYMOBIL figures, the generic ones which I alter to known characters. My first one is a Playmobil JASON VORHEES from FRIDAY 13th movies. It was difficult to have him recognizable and keep him a Playmobil guy at the same time. So I made a spagat between plaything and model, added some gore and will now do a Base.
The next one will be a Playmobil Stalker, something which fits into this universe. And than prepare yourself for the most shocking figures: the.... but thats a secret till now, but when they will come out as I see them, you will roll on the floor laughing. And this all is my re-entry into the modelling stage.

Great to hear you have got some motivation back Frank !. Looking forward to seeing what you have created. Playmobile - why not. I have a flock of Lego Mini Figures stashed away for future projects. Some of the Lego Mini Figures are brilliant. Did you know they do Lego Zombie Mini Figures.

Kiwi, a big YAP!! I have some ideas for Lego figures, too, and am on the lookout for usable figures. They are very inspiring, too! And the rest of you, please wait till Saturday. I will post some pics. Have worked on the victiom for Jason. Not much sculpting to be done, but what I had to do was gruesome, harhar!

Guy, I am sure, this will "only" be an endeavor into this array. I am too much rooted into the fantastic field to completely give it up!

OK, here are the first pic of the little rascal. Some little details have to be added (strap of the mask, the hair of the head and a little bit more): By the way, the machete is removable, harhar! I think of doing some more weapons to choose from! And the victim will hold up a shield with the word "Help!" Frank

Maybe I needed a break from doing all those "realistic" monsters and mayhem (ok, it is mayhem, too. But a bit funny I hope) and it is cooling down my nerves a bit. And I think, that the next projects in this field will be much more satisfying! Thanks for the interest, guys!

Frank If suffering from a loss of interest and motivation, I think the best solution is to take on small projects that don't drag on for months. Some of the bigger projects I have started, after a few months working on them I go through stages of losing interest to finish them.
