Hi, everybody! The next work for the customer: painting of the car GAZ - 21 'Volga' in scale 1/43. Model from DeAgostini. The GAZ-21 car was made in the USSR from 1957 to 1970. In total have made about 31000. In such style I painted models of avtomodily GAZ-M-20 'Victory' and GAZ-13 of 'Tea' earlier. Pleasant viewing. The model was such: After:

Now that's a 'hot' transformation! Neat to see that the 'flame' motif reached even to the Soviet Union's models.

The "Chornia Volga" was an important symbol of the aparackiki during the Cold War. But I can't imagine Brezhnev riding in the back of a Volga with a flame paint job.

The "Chornia Volga" was an important symbol of the aparackiki during the Cold War. But I can't imagine Brezhnev riding in the back of a Volga with a flame paint job. Brezhnev wasn't carried in "Volga". For him there were other cars (GAZ-13, Zillah....)
