Off to a good start Lucas! Funny thing about the Akagi...at one point in her life she had more than one flight deck and aircraft could be launched off the different decks simultaneously through that opening in the bow. I bet that made life really interesting for those pilots. Seriously??? That is just a little bit crazy! Air ops must have been crazy with two flight decks in simultaneous operation.

A very good question, Leon. I asked me the same thing. Of course its the traditional way and makes some things easier. In this case, I found it would be tricky to install the deck, although its very precisely molded. A very small brush should do the trick too.
