Hi all In my recent quest for a something quick and different I came across a thread by Erik. He built a Daihatsu midget by Arii models. So I placed an order for the midget and this CM10T from Hobby Link Japan. They seem to be fun quick builds with a low part count. Some of the parts have a fair amount of flash, but nothing that cant be sorted out with a bit of sanding. I plan to build it well used with a load of some sort on the back. But im sure things will change along the way. As always, comments welcome.

O.K., you're going to take your inspiration from Mustang1989's builds, aren't you? Blown V8 sticking up through the bed, tubbed back end with huge "meats"? Alternatively, you could stick a 1/72nd tank chassis under the back, paint it Panzergrau and claim it was an experimental cross between a Kettenkrad and a Maultier. Photoshop a couple of grainy "reference photos", sit back and wait for Dragon to produce a kit in 1:35th and then sue them for copyright... Cheers, M

But i think im going to keep it standard and give it a worn panel van look.

Hi all Managed to get the major assemblies done last night and hope to have this guy in primer by Sunday. So far theres been a few places that needed some cleaning up, but generaly the fit has been good. The rack on the end of the bed has been chopped off and will be replaced with a more scale looking one. The exhaust was also over scale so will scratch a new one for that too. Not keen on the front suspension, so might change that too.

Hi all After a bit of a hiccup and the need to order a new kit, I got round to painting this 1. Below is where I stand as of this afternoon. Some more work still to do then its on to the base. Id like some base ideas if anyone has some. Also took the road cones and the wheelbarrow out of my Fujimi excavator kit. They will be going in the back as part of a load. All comments welcome as always.

That is looking really awesome Wes! A nice little construction dio or road with pot holes would look good.
