Thanks, folks. I must admit I'm happy to have this one in the rear view mirror...I liked the kit but I think I'll give NMF a rest for a while I've got Kinetic's Super Etendard and AMK's MiG-31 in my stash...think I'll do one of those next. Maybe I'll keep a WIP post updated since it's a bit quiet around here. Any preferences between the two? It's a complete tossup to me.

Ooooooh...I like it. What metal paints did you use? Super Etendard or MiG-31? Either works just fine!

I would love to see AMK take on the F100 series!! I'd be good for a minimum of four and probably six or seven! (guess we know what jet is at the top of the ladder for me) I own three of the old Monogram F100d's, four Trumpeter F100's (1/72 scale), two Italeri F100d's (1/72), and maybe one other oddball one. Just can't have enough of them.
As for the build, I love the paint job. Especially the different panel tint and the burnt metal under the tail. Excellent! gary

Ooooooh...I like it. What metal paints did you use? Super Etendard or MiG-31? Either works just fine! I used Alclad 2, which I have used for the little NMF areas you're bound to see here and there on airplanes, but never on a full build. It was generally OK to work with, but one of the colors (Airframe Aluminum) just Would Not Adhere. And a few areas took on a weird texture for no reason discernible by me. Oh well. Think I'll try something else next time I do a NMF bird. Thanks again for the comments everybody. Think I'll move on to the SuperE...hopefully I'll get started this weekend.

Looks great fellow redditor! I didn't get into the NMF groupbuild but it's nice to see some stuff from there on the forums

Thanks! Yeah I agree, it's kind of fun to see the same people and builds in different communities. /r/modelmakers is a pretty decent place.
