Well, it’s been a while since I’ve been to the social club and started a new thread that fills every one with false hope.
I have always been afraid of figure painting, and have decided to bite the bullet and just do it! I’ve tried different mediums over the years, and as soon as I start to get the hang of things, it seems I give up on figures for a while. One of the hardest mediums for me to learn is acrylics. I’ve been doing a little practice and think I’m starting to get the hang of it. So, it’s with this figure, I will paint it entirely out of Vallejo and Andrea paints.
Assembly has been started on the figure. Here I have a couple of subassemblies ready for primer. Due to the pose. I will have to start inside out, meaning I will paint the weapon and inner portions of the torso (hard to reach areas) first.

Fantastic looking figure BJ! I am sure you will enjoy bringing this one together! Hey, my grandfather was attached to the 29th at one point...565AAA...you know those cool quad 50's on the HT's?
