Many thanks Leon! At us there are a lot of monuments which are especially devoted to the Second World War, great people.... Probably, you saw a monument "the Motherland calls". It is established in the city of Volgograd (reny - Stalingrad). A monument VERY high - 87 meters (285.4 ft).

Nice work Martin! Absolutely love the ZIS-5 with round mudguards - shame there isn't a decent 1/35 kit of it. Although I'm hoping Miniart is going to follow up the ZIS wheels they have released with the kit, after all they did the same with the GAZ trucks. Oh, and Leon - check this out: soviet monuments

Many thanks Dierk! You're right. Pre-war ZIS very interestingly looks.

A few days ago I was bemoaning the fact that there wasn't a decent 1/35 kit available...just heard Hobbyboss is about to release one! Hurrah

Nice recreation Martin! Even monuments need their whitewall tires.

Nice recreation Martin! Even monuments need their whitewall tires. Many thanks Bill! Fast cars are necessary to all white tires. And this car 'flew' with a speed of 60 (!) of km/h (37 miles/hour)
