I have a bit of time to kill while i wait for supplies to finish my panzerwerfer. So i thought i would fill the time with a quick little OOB build. This is not my usual type of subject, but was a nice gift from a great friend and its nice to do something different now and again. I have heard really nice things about the new Eduard kits, and while i have a few, this is the first i have built. Looks a great little kit with a nice PE fret and some nice decal options. I started with the pit, putting some of it together but leaving a few bits off for painting. After a coat of primer and interior green, i did some light weathering, just a flory pin wash and dry brushing and got all the coloured PE parts fitted. And with that, the pit was fitted, fuselage halves joined and wings added. This has gone together great and i haven't used any filler as yet. I primed the wheel wells getting ready to paint them before masking and doing the underside. But then i realised that they will be white as we as the bottom of the aircraft, so i won't have to mask those. Also got the engine together, painted with Alclad and a bit of weathering. Thanks for looking, more soon.

Cool! Eduard is definitely the way to go when it comes to OOB builds.

If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the precipitate.

Looks really great. Makes me want to tap into one of the Eduard kits in my stash.

Starting off nicely Bish. This builds up into a very nice kit. Built it a couple years ago. Very easy build.

Thanks for the comments guys. This kit is really nice, all went together without a bit of filler.
Should have the final coat of paint on tomorrow.

Smooth looking paint job there Bish! Got to love the look of the 3-tone pattern on these Pacific birds.
