Dear friends, After some efforts, I'm glad to present a project for the coming week. Almost 11 artists (8 figure painters and 3 sculptors) from Romania accepted our invitation to reunite at a very elegant place, a 19th Century aristocratic residence (we say "conac") in Vâlcea county. We'll make exchange of tehniques, we'll work together and shared our experience on the benefit of all participants. Here is the flyer, I'm sorry that's only in the Romanian version. Warm thanks to Mr. Antonie Chelcea, manager of the "Nicolae Bălcescu" Museum, machete.ro and xaba.ro, online shops for scale model kits in Romania, AMA-IPMS Romania, for the kind support. Also our gratitude to Mr. Zeno Mladin who gave us permission to use his works and Mr. Dragoş Andreescu for ranging our flyer template. To my good friend, Bogdan Păpuşe, for support and good advices and to all our friends who accept joining to this project. screenshot

It was just finished our workshop on painting historical figurines, co-organized with "Nicolae Bălcescu" Museum (Vâlcea, Romania) and in partnership with AMA- IPMS Romania. Great atmosphere, a significant historical place, beautiful natural setting, extremely hospitable hosts. Besides program designed public demonstrations , exchange of experience , constant and quality feedback, a fine mini exhibition arranged, we had to arrange a workshop for junior participants. The subject of our workshop: the 13th Century Sicilian Archer bust, work of talented Mariano Numitone. Some photos from our event below! Cheers, Nicolae
